What is the PCKasse WooCommerce integration?

The PCKasse WooCommerce integration from InfoDesk connects the PCKasse POS system to your WooCommerce store, so products, variants, prices, images and stock are sent from the till to the online store, and web orders flow back to the till automatically. PCKasse is the master for the data. The integration costs from NOK 500/month excl. VAT and can be in production within 1–3 business days.

Faster, more stable, more dynamic

InfoDesk Webservice is a production-ready integration layer between PCKasse and your online store. PCK remains the data master in the till — we take over the entire outbound synchronisation.

Faster

PCK gets a response in under 1 second — no matter how long WooCommerce or Shopify takes. Traditional synchronous SOAP→REST bridges hang the checkout for several minutes when the API is slow.

More stable

Database-persisted queue survives app pool recycling and server restarts. Automatic retry with notifications, plus a reconciliation process that catches orders that got stuck.

More dynamic

One web service serves many customers simultaneously, with isolated API keys, images, queue data and configuration. Scales horizontally — new customer = one row in the database, no redeploy.

Architecture

PCK controls everything — we do the work in the background

PCKasse sits locally behind a firewall and opens every call. We receive them at a SOAP endpoint and respond immediately by placing the job in a database queue. Five background workers do the heavy lifting against WooCommerce, Webflow or Shopify without blocking the checkout.

Five independent background processors

All state is kept in SQL Server — no jobs are lost on restart. Each queue has its own throttling and retry strategy.

Fetches new orders from the online store to PCK.

Scans for stuck orders every 30 minutes and re-queues them.
